1. Click on Music Time Deluxe on your desktop. (Let Mr. G know if there is no Music Time Deluxe on your computer)
2. Click "File"
Click "New"
Put a dot next to "Piano"
Systems per page "4"
Measures per system "4"
Click "OK"
3. In the bass cleff only (bottom line of the staff) write in the chords that were provided to you below.
Please repeat this chord progression 4 times. This will fill your page. Your song is 16 measures long.
4. SAVE
Click "File"
Click "Save as"
Save in "My Documents"

3. Check Set Up
Click "Set up"
Click "Midi set up"
Change "none" on both Port A & B
to "Midi Mapper" click "ok"
Writing your song
You have put your chord progression in your tune in the bass cleff. Now you will write a melody in the right hand or treble clef.
The best notes to use in your melody are notes that are found in the chord.
Here are the chord tones for each chord.
You can use any notes or rests from your tool bar but be sure you have 4 beats or $4 dollars in each measure or box of music. Whatever you do in the first 4 measures repeat it in the last 4 measures.
