AMMSMusicZone CD Review
Purpose
Students will listen to 2
different music Cds and write reviews that will be made available on
line for parents and the
community.
Students will develop listening
skills to properly formulate accurate Cd reviews with the appropriate
music vocabulary.
Students will develop internet
searching skills to find information regarding their particular CD in
review.
Students will take part in a
project that will benefit our school and community
.
We Need a Review Form or
Template
Students will brain storm
in groups to find the criteria that will be used to review the music
cds. Then as a class we will
use Inspiration to organize our
thoughts into an Inspiration web and outline. This will be the
basis for a Template or
Review Form that we can
all use.
Choosing Your CDs
The first CD review is your choice.
The CD must be appropriate for school. If you are not sure if the
CD is
appropriate you
better check
with Mr. G before you get started. The CD must be a CD that can be
purchased
and not a
compilation of your
favorite songs.
The second CD will also be
your choice but you will be limited to the AMMSMusicZone CD
Library.

Good News!
Your efforts above in the Review Form or Template section are about to
pay off. As a class you brain
stormed the
criteria that you thought would be most important for an accurate
CD review. We took all your great
ideas in the
brain storming session and organized them using Inspiration.
Now we took
all of that information and developed a template that we all can
use. If you click here the TEMPLATE
will
appear magically before your eyes.
